Oaklandish 1st Annual T-Shirt Design Contest
Calling the East Bay's Next Generation of Visionary Artists. Win a chance to have your own unique t-shirt produced and sold all over the Bay Area. These designs should portray some aspect of life in Oakland.$250 Grand Prize (plus a stack of shirts with your design)
2nd Prize, one Oaklandish hoody and one Oaklandish T-shirt of your choice
3rd Prize, Two Oaklandish T-shirts of your choice
To enter, submit digital files by emailing Illustrator or Photoshop (unflattened) files at 300 dpi at print size to contest@oaklandish.com.
All designs must be submitted by February 1, 2010, and should include your name, age, email address, phone number, and a short description of your design and how it relates to Oakland. Winners will be notified by March 31, 2010.

Please note: All submissions become the property of Oaklandish and will not be returned. Oaklandish reserves the right to reject, edit, or change submissions without limitation. By submitting your work for consideration you agree to its use by Oaklandish without reservation. All images must be submitted digitally and will not be returned. No compensation will be provided for use of the image(s) and there is no guarantee that the image(s) you submit will be used. If your image(s) are selected for inclusion by Oaklandish, you will be contacted by a staff member and given an artist credit on the Oaklandish website. By submitting images, you certify and agree that: (1) you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and submit the attached image for inclusion in the Oaklandish T-Shirt Design Contest; (2) the attached image is not copyrighted, protected or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, except for those held by yourself or rightfully granted to you; and (3) by submitting the attached image, you are granting Oaklandish a permanent nonexclusive right to publish the image, along with your name and information about the image, on the Oaklandish Web site without compensation.
