Youth Slugging Scrappy Tee
On Saturday, June 15, 2024 the Oakland Ballers unveiled their team mascot, Scrappy the Rally Possum. After first appearing at The Oakland Coliseum in 2014, Scrappy the Rally Possum became a frequent attendee at Coliseum games due to his love of all things baseball and Oakland. Recently, Scrappy left his life at the Coliseum behind to join Oakland’s newest professional baseball team, the Oakland Ballers, at their home at Raimondi Park. As a deep believer in the power and importance of fans, Scrappy is excited to represent the Oakland Ballers as the team’s new mascot.
Our Scrappy designs were created by Ken Mitchroney, the former mascot artist for the Oakland Athletics, Baltimore Orioles and other national-level professional sports teams. With the departure of the Oakland Athletics, Ken offered his support to the new Oakland Ballers. Ken has a distinguished career in motion picture and television animation as well as comic books, having worked for such major motion picture studios as Warner Brothers, Pixar and Disney.
